I believe they also accept “sharing” keys, for the license for one project,
the same one you use when you share with others. I was not able to find a
great deal on how to do that.
What they will end up doing is to revoke their online license key and if you
have physical license you would have to contact support to get a new one and
that would take time. So what they are going to do is to revoke their keys.
This could be done in few days but what if it takes few weeks?
From what I have seen, Autodesk doesn’t take that long to revoke keys, but it
can be slow. I know they have a tool to do it automatically for you as part of
the upgrade process.
